Eating & Drinking at The Alma
Our kitchen will be open from 12 – 8.30pm Sunday to Thursday and 12-9.30pm Friday & Saturday. The menu below is subject to availability and change but we endeavour to have all the Alma favourites on all the time. We also do roasts on a Sunday with some of the best Yorkies in Essex!
It’s not always necessary to book a table but we do get busy, booking is a grand way of avoiding disappointment and is quick and easy.
We appreciate that some people will still want to enjoy a takeaway, if this is you, please choose what you fancy from the menu and call us on 01255318681 or pop in for a pint and take dinner home.

A simple and painless process.
To proceed you’ll need the date, time, number of people coming, your contact details and flexible friend. You’ll receive an email confirmation and a reminder text on the day of your booking.
We will pre-authorise payment of £25 per person but will only take this money if you don’t turn up and don’t let us know your plans have changed.
It’s a sad fact that some folks think it’s ok the book a table and not turn up, we’ve had our fingers burnt too often so thats why this has been introduced.
