Eating & Drinking at The Alma
Our kitchen will be open from 12 – 8.30pm Sunday to Thursday and 12-9.30pm Friday & Saturday. The menu below is subject to availability and change but we endeavour to have all the Alma favourites on all the time. We also do roasts on a Sunday with some of the best Yorkies in Essex!
It’s not always necessary to book a table but we do get busy, booking is a grand way of avoiding disappointment and is quick and easy.
We appreciate that some people will still want to enjoy a takeaway, if this is you, please choose what you fancy from the menu and call us on 01255318681 or pop in for a pint and take dinner home.

A simple and painless process.
To proceed you’ll need the date, time, number of people coming, your contact details and flexible friend. You’ll receive an email confirmation and a reminder text on the day of your booking.
£10 per person deposit paid at the time of booking, fear not you are in control, should you need to change the booking time or date you can or you can cancel more than 24 hours before and you’ll get a full refund. If you book for 4 and only 3 can come it’s not a problem – your £40 deposit will be taken off your bill.
It’s a sad fact that some folks think it’s ok the book a table and not turn up, we’ve had our fingers burnt too often so thats why this has been introduced.
